Gabrielle D. Trujillo

Having worked on a variety of criminal and civil matters, Gabby quickly distills complex facts and legal issues to come up with solutions that are tailored to each client’s unique goals.

  • Gabby has successfully guided corporate clients and individuals through government investigations, including Department of Justice and Inspector General investigations and regulatory enforcement actions, and conducted sensitive internal investigations regarding compliance with the False Claims Act, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, and other laws and regulations.

Before joining Summa LLP, Gabby practiced at Crowell & Moring LLP, where she represented a variety of corporate clients and individuals in federal, state, and administrative courts in all manner of issues, including complex civil claims, bid protests, and criminal matters.

As a law student, Gabby served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Andrew J. Guilford. She also represented clients who were convicted of serious crimes as children and sought postconviction relief through appeals, habeas corpus, and other post-conviction remedies in Loyola Law School’s Juvenile Innocence and Fair Sentencing Clinic. As an attorney, she kept her commitment to criminal justice work and secured a pro bono client’s freedom through a petition under California Penal Code § 1170.95, along with attorneys from Loyola and Crowell & Moring. Today, Gabby maintains a pro bono practice where she represents clients in immigration proceedings and individuals seeking postconviction relief from long life sentences.
